my acer lappy -kaboom- again.
i guess i overworked it again=(
sent it to acer repair, which i highly doubt i will get it back so soon after the horrible experience with them the previous time.
conclusion, acer laptop needs repair at least once a year.

going off to youth camp tmr=)
till i get back my lappy, i doubt i'll blog so soon=)

i am EXTREMELY satisfied with today's refusal to do any project day=)
spent the morning in the house of God, followed by practice for dance. hahas gwen has graduated from kids and now joining us at the youth area=) *patpats* welcome gwenlynn! =D

hahas. after the dance pract for Christmas, went over to hbf for my "me.book.coffee." time=) plonked myself at starbucks with dark mocha frappe, "the second wives club" and spent a good three hours there.

then deon came to pick me up for dinner and off we went for dinner at bugis. finally visited iluma. finally some time together. hahas. so yups=) i really needed this nice sunday to wrap up a horrible week.

i-am-satisfied.

plan of not touching any project over the weekends failed. HAHA=) i shall be a good girl and do IEP in a while. BUT, im intending to rot at starbucks/Pacific blah blah place at harbourfront tmr with two books which i had borrowed from the library. FINALLY a good trip to the library. i was a bookworm in the past=) proud to be one cause reading is really fun. you can imagine a primary three girl who is a librarian burying herself in books everyday, that's me=) so, YES. im NOT touching anything work related stuff tmr.

Anyway=) today was a saturday well-spent i guess. lol. signed up for the pupperty thingy that they were promoting in lecture on wednesday. i think its really interesting how puppets work because even adults can get captivated at those muppets/puppets=) i was looking at the puppets dancing as though i was a small kid once more=D it's true when they said that puppets have the abilities to make even adults want to forget that they're just fantasy. they started off with the puppets doing the YMCA dance followed by "nobody" by the wondergirls! HAHA bt i didnt have my camera with me so i only managed to kup a short vid from my classmate=) credits to NP Puppetry Club=)

and then they also introduced us to the different kind of puppets=) like finger puppets

and guess wad's this=) hand puppets! for the "five little ducks" song. this is a finger pointer useful for ECH educators=) and all the big muppets!=) you can move their hands and mouth=)




hahas suddenly im very interested in puppets=D at least for this while=) hahas so yups came home after workshop, took medicine and a nap (finally). next week gonna be packed with projects and youth camp=) i cant wait for sunday, i cant wait for CHRISTMAS=D ahahas shall end the post with lots of love! hahas lulu and me!

four weeks "break"

this week has been physically draining for me, partly because i caught the fever+cough virus that was floating around my class. haha half the class didnt turn up on tues and wed=) so this week has been a screwed up week trying to rush reports and presentations. but im thankful for jolene and julie who stayed up late in sch and at home to finish the transcription.

you two awesome la=D have enough rest over the weekends!

but in the midst of it all, im grateful for the little blessings that brightened the day.
when i was at tuition on tuesday, my tuition kiddy made me a sandwhich!

it was really funny because in the sandwhich was my most ultimate cannot-stand-it kind of CHEESE. LOL. but he was sooo sweet to make a 'M' with chocolate syrup, so i still ate it (with glups of water).
and then in the evening, deon came over with dinner for me (with an evil plan up his sleeve). hahas i was excitedly waiting for my macdonalds, though my sorethroat only allows me to have fillet-o-fish=( but he "produced" a new kind of fish burger!

noo.. mac doesnt sell this. deon invented it. hahas salmon sushi burger! LOL=) because he insists that fillet fish is still fried so he bought my favourite salmon to put inside. hahas=) okay la. it wasnt evil k=) it's thoughtful. haha=)

and then on wednesday, it was our interview for EOP.

hence for once we had to wear more businessy. but the 5 hours break between was torturous. sitting at 'many many tables' racking our brains. but after interview, i had a short break somewhere and i finally found a place that sells nice honeydew and ORH-NI!

its at serangoon gardens. and there's this new place called "ministry of steaks" that is like a replica of astons, and the food is really good too=) in fact i think its nicer than astons lea. just that it's far from where i stay=(

and then on thursday, i returned to my horrible sick state again, used about 6 packets of tissue. stayed in sch to do the IEP thingy and quek got high and started doing weird things to julie's msn and hp.

and who is kim Chi Bum Bum? LOL jolene quek has requested for her wonderful creation to be posted up on my blog.

lol. insanity in school at 9pm. but you know, what cheered me up was that in the middle of project, I was really blessed by this guy from campus crusade who came over with candy canes and a piece of story=) and i was really fascinated by the story so i shall share! =)

The Candy Cane Story

10 more days to holiday

i know i know i should start on my project soon

im in a good mood to pon school today but i shant and shall be a good girl and report to school. i think school recently has been a waste of time somehow because we're not exactly learning anything. but i shall me a nice girl and attend school and appreciate the lecturers for their efforts=) *halo*

gonna complete application for Wheelock this week. lol. honestly I don't know if that's what I really want or what my "back-up" plans are. haha but like deb says, "going by faith". hahs=) if God has in plan for me to be in there, He has already secured a place for me and He is going to provide. So I'll just try my best=)

10 more days to a long break. CHRISTMAS!

hahas=) PRCL was a huge success this year. enjoyed being back with the bunch of them. cadets this year were really great and everything went on really smoothly=) this year was on a smaller scale, about 200 elderly, 100 cadets and volunteers. Met merisa at the event too, it's always fun talking to her=) she's constantly entertaining me with stories about her kids. hahas=) hopefully i get the photos too and upadte them some other time=)

i enjoy doing what im doing now because it allows me to really do community service. and this year, i realised that our beneficiaries are all living in one-room flats. when i helped this old couple back to their flats, i realised that the house consist of a room area with two beds, and a kitchen facing the door. and it really made my heart ache for the old man and her wheelchair-bound wife. but i was really comforted when i helped another old lady home with the goodie bag, and she said to me "今天很开心" in hokkien with a wide smile. and this is why i'll keep doing PRCL=)

i do hope that the cadets who were there that day brought home a good experience in knowing that they've spent their saturday in a meaningful way=)

i feel the excitement and tension building again though im not in the committee this year.
sadly, because of all the year three commitments, couldnt be in thw a-we-so-me main com this year.
but owells, all the effort they've placed in.
pray for good weather and co-ordination. success!

andand i get the treat of meeting haoning and yelyn tmr too!=) cant wait to catch up with them. and poor deon kena dragged along by me too. okay la, he very nicely volunteered to come=)

let's give them a reason to smile, let us make their day!

passed two weeks has been a mad rush. but the results are satisfying=)
1. IEP cleared! done with pre&post test, interventions=D
2. completed 3 assignments
3. I PASSED NAPFA=D

yesyesyes, i am rather happy with the results=) after not exercising for three years, i still managed a silver, which is rather.. yay=D haha though it was a little disappointing that i came in 15.46 for 2.4km=( missed gold by 16 secs. but owells, at least i didnt stop so yay=) thank God for stopping the rain, otherwise we would have to forfiet our awards because we would miss the 2.4run.

and im growing fat fat fat. been eating alot but somehow my weight doesnt increase. im stuck at short and light. haha somehow my appetite recently is bigger than deon but owell, it's good that he doesnt mind trying new stuff=) hahas so im really having an eye-opening experience with food=D hahas a while ago he treated me to this brazil buffet thingy was was kinda cool=)

okay photos arent appetizing but yups, it's my first time going to such a place. the chef goes around to put the meat on your plates and it's funny because they speak in such weird english i cant understand. so i was happily eating this SUPER nice meat thingy when deon told me that it was chicken heart-.- but it's seriously delicious=D

and yes yes, im thankful for what i have now. im being pampered but i really appreciate what i have. not taken for granted okay HB=)

hahas=) and so, wednesday was leonice birthday=)
