lol..

been working for the past few days..
im loving my job:D
in some way or another..
trying to be positive

it's realli tiring rushing here there everywhere every moment
and facing attitudes of different customers
clearing those SUPER HEAVY plates
and doing housekeeping till latelate

BUT

i've learnt to be content with this job
and learn to enjoy working :)
in fact, was quite entertained nowadays.. LOL

that day, i made a record of havin to do FOUR housing keeping chores.. normally we do one or two nia
i sanitised the lamp thingys
baby chairs
swept the floor
topped up bread station
i used to hatehatehate topping up breadstation..
now i lovelovelove it.. CAUSE i noe where everything is
and im no longer a blur (and clumsy) newbie :D

i've learnt how to clear the STUFFS on the tables
and balancing the super big n heavy plate
and i learnt not to dirty the table when im eating..
WAH.. sometimes realli feel lk murdering customers..
bones everywhere ( i mean the pork ribs )
spilled water ( okok.. i did spill some SOMEtimes)
and eeky yucky cheese powders all over table
i hate cheese =X
okok.. im suppose to be positive
*ahems*

though customers are attitude at times..
on second thought
dey are quite cute lah hor..

there's the "hard-soft" customer
"sorry, how many glasses of ice water do you need?"customer glance around.. "do i look lk i need two glasses?"
"sorry, then i'll get you one ice water.. may i take your orders?"
"then you expect me to take myself? nvm, i was joking.. can i have a panfried linguine.. the noodles i want it to be cooked hard, not soft.. but not too hard and not that soft but cooked"

i had a hard time figuring out what to write for him on the order pad

there's the "wo zhi shuo hua yu" (i only speak chi)
pork ribs is => zhu pa
beef ribs=> niu pa
pastas => mian =.= sorri.. my chi too lan..
quan shu=> well-done (steak)
i need to revise my chi =.=

the vegetarians in a not-vegetarian-cafe
"may i know is there any items that has no chicken, no pork, no beef, no seafood, just veggie?"
HUH..so i went kitchen, asked chef wad they have
chef saed "u ask dem eat mushroom can le.. siao.. do we look lk we have vegetarian food?"

the "calculat-ers"
"ur bill is $60.42"
"WHAT.. i ordered 3 items.. look at ur reciept, so many 0.00.. how could the rest add up to $60?"
"the 0.00 are the items the are already included in the set. the remaining ones,gst,service charge add up to this""no no, i want calculator.. i calculate"
* after some time, she macham duno how to use calculator.. so i took over.. press one by one for her *

the typical funny type
ordering turkey n ham sandwhich without turkey
ordering this noodle panfried with mushroom, red,green,yellow peppers without all peppers..

hahas.. see.. arent customers cute at times:P
and not only them.. i love the kitchen
hahas.. that day i went into the kitchen, seeing the 3 chefs and brother crowding around the table.......... *suspense*
peeling prawns!
SUPER CUTE okay..
