been trying to get back all the sleep that i was deprived of previously=P
so i woke up at 1pm again today to find myself home alone=(
owells=) but i decided to entertain myself a little by heading back to my old desktop and transfer some stuffs over to my lappy=)
and i made soo many discoveries from my olden days in secondary school=D
it was smiles, smiles and laughters looking back on those days
let me share my discoveries!
hahas! especially those who din noe me in my sec school days, be prepared to see a very different me.. rather. LOL i look like a nerd last time!
i THINK, im less nerdish now O.O
and for friends who have been with me through these special moments, know that you are veryvery precious to me=)
random things we used to do:
1) sneaking our hp out to take photos of our bio lab experiments=)
2) bubbles! i miss playing with those bubbles

3) taking phtots of our shoes and fingers=)

4) stressing over planning camps and a broken computer
ps: you can catch a glimpse of my first handphone=) the motorola one! HAHA
5) playing under the rain(more like man-made rain) in pe attire and trying to act gu niang and calling ourselves 'the ladies'
6) and leaving OUR legacy behind=)

it's funny how everyone seem to know everyone else back then
how from our each cliques we combined into the Units clique we are now
funny how when people used to ask "are they your classmates" becus we are more or less from different classes=)
but they are all my precious friends and we are all from unity=)
lol. i never once regretted choosing unity back then
in fact now i wish we could turn back time to those days and those nights spent in school with them.
and of cus, im glad i chose to join Redcross then.

school was like a second home to me then, in fact i used to spend more time in sch than at home
and the RC room was like a small hideout, where me and yelyn would count the bandages, creams, pack the firstaid boxes, invite our frnds in at times
and URCY was like a family to me.. my juniors mean alot to me..
and they still do! hahas even though i've passed out, graduated, many of them are still very cute friends to me=)
i rmb the days i would conference with shuying suvin jiawen hweeyi on the phone
and my dearest sec ones back then, who are now in sec four and from "ma'am", i've became a "jie" or friend to=)
URCY was where i grew to become who i am today. It was where i learnt to break out of my shell, to be confident and responsible, determined persevere, patience endurance. Sometimes i would think that without redcross, i would be leading a veryvery different life now,
i wouldnt be doing what i like now, project redcross love
i wouldnt have got the chance to travel to japan, and meet people like
TRUCKS (me, ning, amirah, peien, pau,bingxi)
i wouldnt have met people like hayato, akira, deon, uncle Goh, Jinghua aunty

and to be inspired by my seniors, juniors, YO,
and learn to keep this passion burning strong=)
hm i duno rmb if i ever blogged myself in my RC full-U b4=P

but of cus, the period in redcross shouldnt be measured by the number of badges or my rank, becus the spirit to 'serve one another' shouldnt be measured by your superiority but your passion and willingness to serve the less fortunate
which is why, for myself (and prob yelyn) chose not to join VI XP

that was the motto for URCY.
we have always been a very small unit as compared to the other UGs
but as my YO and seniors always say "we may be small, but we are strong"
which is why our unit was based on the mentality of building a family
im not sure how the mentality is like now, but looking at URCY, im still proud to call it my home=)

i really had fun reminiscing my sec school days =)

rmb how many of my poly/sec frnds kept asking me about my dance shirt and when i told them that i did indian dance =P, they all looked ultra surprised
lol i noe im not that graceful neither do i have the talent in dance=) hahas! BUT
CCA leaders day made me (and yelyn) join SYF Indian Dance andandand! we got a bronze okay!
