*dust dust*

i finally found the mood and time to blog. this place is getting so stagnant. and im as usual really busy most of the time. been trying to plan meet-ups with people, lots of people i would love to catch up with, but work is really taking up most of my time. lol=) i guess it's like that. work will end in about a month and a half, and it leaves me a wee bit of time on my own i guess=) that is, before school starts.

nope, i am not complaining about work, i am enjoying myself at where i am, I believe God has really opened this job position for me. It's really interesting how the previous toddler class teacher quit, and another teacher was supposed to come in. however, she had some last minute emergency, leaving the job open and so my mentor got me to fill in the three months gap. about three weeks into my job, the second teacher came back, but she requested to take another class. and on the same week, the previous teacher returned, telling my mentor (principal) that she wants to return to the centre in two months and take back the toddler class, that is after I leave. God's timing is just so perfect. It seems as though God has long planned for this gap so that i could fill in as my vacation job. so, i am thoroughly enjoying myself at where i am now, being in God's grace.

and just the other day, i experienced the power of prayers. =) have been praying for one child's speech. He appears to have speech delay, that it came to a point that the parents almost conclude that he is mute. but i've been praying for his speech to come to him soon, and just in the recent weeks, i caught him whispering to gradual sounds, and the other day, he said "tteaacher". i was just WOAH. i seriously felt like a mother. like.. when your baby first calls you "mama" that kinda of thing. LOL and i realised that even though he hasnt been speaking, he has been understanding. he whispered all my primary colours correctly. so yups. im just.. amazed by how God works even in young lives.

SO, yups, other than work, me and deon get our once in a while luxury of time together. so i suggested bugis. =) wanted to visit the vintage delicafe which my class was supposed to go previously, but it was closed=( so we very randomly stumbled on another place which was pretty interesting too! =) The Coffee Nations at Bali Lane. I love the ambience there. the cushions=)
hahas. and the food is pretty delicious too. im in love with their ice chocolate and mushroom fritters=) the soup was rather good too. i get this feeling that their cream of mushroom will be really good too.

deon had some cajun fish and i had chicken. i guess the food came as a surprise. I didnt expect it to look so nice. HAHA=) i mean when compared to the price, it's really worth it. the salad was really fresh and i am especially picky about fresh salad. this is good=)
=) now, i need to get back to writing an essay for some application stuff. yucks. im so rusty now after not doing essays for about two months. that partly explains why im here, to do my finger warm-up exercises first. haha will upload more photos next time when i finally decide to connect my iphone to my laptop. LOL.
