no particular title

was browsing through some past entries and i realised that keeping a blog may not exactly be a bad thing afterall. bittersweet memories reflects how much i've grown. others simply reminded me of great moments i seemed to have forgotten already.

and that made me guilty.
guilty because i realised how much i've drifted away from friends, how long i have not spent quality moments with them. school and work seemed to have taken over my social life. hahas, like i was joking with deon the other day "you are my best friend, because i have only one friend. you." oh oh oh bad. perhaps friendships come, drift, go. but when i stop and think, i realise that i do miss those old days very much. friends are special people God places in our lives. somehow, as much as i may not be as close to my secondary school or poly friends now, i still do appreciate their existence in my life=)

i miss units. i know the last time i went out with them was long long ago. i miss the random moments where the guys would find something to laugh about, but we girls will never get it. i miss their gentleman-ness, am grateful for the many times they offered word of comfort expressed in their "man-ly ways", aaron and siulung for sending me home. i miss "the ladies" moments with yel, gel, huix, the studying days with michy, the "what should we do in the future" times with nana. =) i read about poly-mers moments, making cards for every JC people during their promos and sending it to their house. yes, i do miss secondary school days. i do miss unitians. school, work and church has made me absent from outings, but out of it all, UNITS, melly still love you all! hahas=)

i also do miss C02 girls. i think i discovered a whole new side of myself when i went to poly. particularly to macy, quek and julie.. though our personalities clashed like north south east west, i think we somehow complemented each other. they taught me to stand up for myself, not to rely on others too much, be more daring and sporty to try new things, and speak better english la=) how can i not when macy and quekww cannot speak chinese=). being in an all girls environment also made me more confident and out-spoken. =) i do appreciate them very much. im really going to miss them when i go to wheelock=(

haha maybe with age, people grow more nostlagic. with the big "2" staring at me and moving closer, i feel a little.. hmm i dont really know how i feel now. it's just that time is passing so fast, im afraid that i lose grip of things with the passing of time.

treasure. appreciate.

alright, its back to work tmr. people will be heading back to poly. so fast. two months has passed. somehow im looking forward to graduation day and meeting everyone again=)
