happy NINETEEN gel!

it's like an ocean breeze blowing on your face
like a summer sun with its warm embrace
like a gentle rain plays a symphony
that's what I want my praise to be

thank you God for Your grace upon my each and every day at the attachment centre. it's amazing how You hear me, care for me and just how much You love me. thank you for the guidance You gave, the communication barriers You overcame and the arrangements that all fell so nicely in place. praise God. =)

and so, three days into attachment and everything has been rather well. I am extremely thankful for the nice mentor that i have, it makes attachment so much more a joy. after three days there, i've gotten over the culture-shock and am adapting to the differences in culture and ways of doing things. in fact, i am beginning to feel that these 35 days might be really enjoyable after all=)
the centre is really different from the two centres which i was attached to in year1&2. the ways of doing things, the curriculum, the staffs. In fact on the first day, i mistook the N2 teacher as the kitchen aunty=X but yups, after three days, im beginning to learn to approach these teachers. hahas, i've never exactly experienced teachers of that age in my previous centres, so it was awkward initially because i didnt know how to approach them. So lunchtime was quiet for first two days. But today me and grace opened up and we actually found out some interesting things about the teachers=)
and then, my centre is culturally diversified. in fact it appears that more than 50% are japanese, then there's singaporeans of cus, mongolians and caucasians. hahs=) so i was having a hard time trying to remember the names. have decided to try to pick up simple japanese phrases so that i can communicate with the younger ones better. TRY la. =) and i've been getting around to do alot of caregiving routine especially for the toddlers. diapers, diapers. im getting good at changing diapers and dressing them HAHA=)im actually enjoying myself while doing these caregiving routines. OH, and the cool thing about the centre is that they have a big sand playground in the compound (with swing!). not something common in centres. so plus the flexible working environment, attachment is really not as dreadful as i thought it would be afteral=)
okay.. maybe i am dreading the implementation of lessons and field supervision=X i gotten a strict supervisor=X and im kinda worried about implementing on my K2s because of the mixture of culture and language development. but that's when I put my trust in God's guidance.
32days to go. gambate! =)

亲爱的已爱,
是时候一起拍照了。i realised i cant find photos of us!=( anyway, 生日快乐!

=) gelgelgel=) it has been 6 years of friendship with you and through these years, we've been through really great times together=) when i was childish, you sat through with me tearing up letters in the classroom(whose letter we shall keep it a secret=P), when i fell off the stairs you laughed so hard you couldnt help me up, when you fell off the see-saw and the swing and i laughed so hard i couldnt speak, when we would stroll over to commonwealth for our much dreaded higher chinese class and ran all the way up the stairs pretending that we tried to rush for class, sat through 论语in higher chinese class with me and couldnt stop laughing at 子贡曰 that we irritated the teacher, pioneered and promoted hcl class in unity, F4days the childish games we played on the rollerchair and making a din in the library. forcing me under the table with kaye & yus because i refused to say my "ranking". LOL=) MGJSdays just singing and irritating suhui with jokes that we were self-amused with, the only sane one who didnt cry while we studied for chinese olvls and had a roundtable crying=) hahas=) im starting to realise how hilarious we were in the past=) but yups. 这些回忆都是无法取代的,我会珍惜着=) thanks gel for this precious friendship=) Happy nineteen=)

okay, off to do my logbook. im starting to miss the luxury of sitting in class and having C02 girls around. and im missing being able to sms on my hp during the day!=)
